GYPSY WEDDING DRESS..CURIOUS?

so I am not a gypsy I seen a show on tlc and fell on love with some of the dresses.. they have lots of sparkle and poof.im still young but curious if you can were a dress similer to that style or will people judge as they say on the show? I live in california and was wondering about how much do dresses of that kind of style cost in us money? Thank you
