If your parents move while you are going to college does in state tuition change?

It's a little different that that. tuition is not determined by your parents residency. It is determined by your residency. So if YOU move or change your residence the tuition changes. If you can maintain a residency within the state you want to go to college you can prove you are an in state resident. Your tuition will change when you change your residency and you pay for a new semester of school. You can not use past residency to establish a in state residency. Also, many schools have rules to establish residency. For example I believe UNLV requires a year of residency in the state in order to qualify for state tuition.
