Can I get above ordinary consciousness while taking antidepressants?

the reason for having a body at all is because it's required to fulfill your destiny of realizing that you're one with God and are God. So if a body needs to be intact and normal for your immaculate being to be known without having to attend to the illusion of a body, wouldn't taking medications interfere?
