Forwarded her Mail to elsewhere?

My mother in law lives in Jamaica but she reminds me of a traveling gypsy. She stays with one her kids for 2 months another for 3 and last year she stayed in my home for over 5 months. My wife just spent thousands to send her to England to stay a few months with a Sister. I have the distinct honor of receiving her mail here in the US. My question is... Did I do a bad thing by forwarding her postal mail to another of her kids homes? I mean come on, she gets more mail than I do.
