Ps3 disk playback problems?

I have a ps3 hooked up to a vizio led 240hz tv through an hdmi cable and the tv plays immaculate but when im using the ps3 the home screen shows a green tinge at the bottom of the screen and when i play games or blu rays it will most of the time show up in a green or pink tinge coving the whole screen but the problem will usually go away after restarting the system a few times and sometimes audio doesn't work until restarted does anyone have any suggestions or can help me?
