If parental rights are terminated in Fl,bc of child abuse,does the father still have to pay child support?

years ago,my son was abused by his father when he was three months old.I applied for foodstamps to help get me on my feet,and the state made me fill out all these documents,and I even turned in my sons fathers TPR papers. They set a hearing for us next month.Could they make him pay,and if so,can he get rights back to see him?I worry about his safety.Plus,he doesnt even know him.This happened so long ago.
